I was reading an entry by Jessica, from San Fransico. I was curious also, where everyone is from! I, myself, live in Louisiana...near New Orleans. Where is everyone elso from? I don't know of any Maltese breeders here, and had a heck of a time finding my baby.

I often wonder too where everyone is from. Lucy and I love in Germantown, MD, a northern suburb of Washington, D.C. (You should get a lot of responses to this one, Cindy!)

Hello, Cindy. This is funny. I live in Spokane, Washington, and ended up going all the way to New Orleans to find my baby, Jazz! I found his breeder, Divine Maltese (Larry Stanberry) on this web-site. I love your question....maybe everyone would be willing to put at least a quick post up with their city/state.

Hi! Good question. Actually, I live relatively close to our hosts. I live in Parsippany, NJ. Although I know better now, I got my little angel from a Pet Store chain over 11 years ago. I was VERY lucky, because Noelle has no more than her share of ills that can beset Maltese (allergies, ear infections). Are there any other NJ Maltese owners "on line"?

We (6 maltese, assorted ages) live in the high desert of Southern California, in a very small town called Rosamond. Very hot in Summer, but very nice weather in Winter. We are originally from Oregon (sigh) but due to an Air Force life we havent lived there in 30 years. I would love to hear from anyone who is anywhere near us.

Hi, what a great idea! I'm from Annandale in Sydney, Australia. It is very close to the city and is one of Sydney's oldest suburbs. My Rastus passed away 3 months ago and we miss him very much, but we are getting 2 new puppies to love in a couple of months. It's really great to know that there are so many other folk out there who are also besotted with these adorable scraps of white fluff. I am very new to this site but have not seen any postings from Sydney (or anywhere in Australia) yet. So come on out of the woodwork all you guys and say hello!

Dana, Snowy(Maltese), Simba(Chow Chow) and myself live in Meridian, Mississippi. This past weekend Dana and I were in New Orleans and we saw the cutest Maltese with a guy who had the Maltese on his chest in a pet pouch at the French Market. I thought the pet pouch was the coolest thing for Snowy, so I went out and bought one the same day. Whoever the owner is thanks a lot for giving us the idea!

This is great! I've only been on board about a month. Somehow, I thought you all knew each other--at least the generalites. My husband and I live in Center Hill, Florida--in a very rural county of Central Florida. It's about 45 miles from Orlando, and a little farther from Tampa. You know, this might be a silly and infeasible idea--cause the readership of Maltese Only must be so large and it might be alot of extra work for Jay, but I'd like to see a separate page of brief bios on you guys (unless this is also a privacy issue). Maybe there could be a form to fill out--town where we live, age group, number and names of Maltese--and gerenal lifestyle--country life or city life, high-rise condo or farmhouse. What do you think?

Hudson and I live in Hoboken, NJ, and Hudson has an interesting history. He was born here, in town, but both of his parents are from Japan. They were given as a gift to their owner by her parents to keep her company when she left Japan alone for the US. Hudson doesn't quite meet the standard - he is 11 lbs. and his paws are largely pink, but he is known to be the happiest, friendliest dog in the neighborhood!

Hi everyone, my wife, Angela, and I live in Slidell, La., about 30 minutes due east of New Orleans. We have been breeding/exhibiting Maltese (ONLY) for several years and cannot imagine a more beautiful, more poised, or more charming and responsive a breed of dog than the Maltese. I have shown and bred maltese on a small, exclusive scale for 10 years and am proud to have had many top winners share their lives with me. Our current special, Multi BIS Can. Am. Ch. Snoel's Wish Upon A Tiny Star, or as she is known to us, "Twinkie", has 17 Best in Shows and is the number 1 Toy Dog in Canada for 1996 and 1997. Hi! Eddie and Sam and I live in San Jose, California, which is about 30 miles south of San Francisco. We have beautiful weather year-round as well as beautiful scenery. I'm a native of California. I was raised in Anaheim, home of Disneyland. We lived less than 2 miles from there. I grew up watching the fireworks every summer night from my backyard. I live in Slidell LA and work in New Orleans. I bought my puppy from a person on the Westbank. I just recently got e-mail and saw that there was a breeder in Slidell. Had I known that earlier, I would have contacted them first!

Hi everyone!! We live in San Gabriel, California. But after my husband finishes his medical school at UCLA by next June we are moving to Honolulu, Hawaii, where I am originally from. wow-this is fun! well my sweet maltese dolly & i live in wonderful las vegas, nevada! i came by way of my first 29 years in pittsburgh (hi jay & bev)(HI linda-i'm from mt. lebanon) by way of 10 years in venice florida (hi donna in venice! and pat in sarasota)

when i FINALLY moved here to an apt. complex that accepted pets, i found a maltese breeder through this wonderful site in pahrump which is west of vegas.

and now dolly & i are happy lil'vegans...just bought a condo & plan on living happily ever after right here in NV!

(sheesh...that was hard to type all that since my sweet maltese is in my lap sleeping on my left arm!)

Precious and I live in Hillsboro, Tennessee, about 76 miles southeast of Nashville. Precious is 1 yr. old and bought from breeder in Manchester, TN. She is approx. 5 lbs. and adorable as everyone here feels about theirs. I never thought I could love an inside dog so much! My husband has even been won over who said he would never have an inside pet! I love this Web site and enjoy all the good info!

Hi everybody! Although I am not "officially" a Maltese owner yet (not until second week of July), I feel like one!
