feeding new puppy?

ORIGINAL MESSAGE:
My new puppy is almost 16 weeks old. I have been feeding her about 1/4 cup of dry food mixed with warm water three times a day. She now eats almost all of it both morning and evening, but shows no interest in her mid-day meal. Should I cut her back to two meals a day, increasing the amount at each of those?

Mary, I think that would be a good idea. I am wondering if you leave dry down so she can free feed also. I have noticed that Emma will sometimes skip her canned food. After a coulple days I put it down again and she snarfs it down. So, I would skip it for a few days and then try it again. Not sure if you said she was still a puppy, but I would feed three times a day till 6 mos. Good Luck!
