Change in hair texture?

ORIGINAL MESSAGE:
Hi! Noshi is about to be 2 and recently I have noticed that her hair, which is in a long coat has become a bit courser-not quite a soft as it has always been. Is it due to the harsh Buffalo winters, bathing her or has she lost her puppy fur? Does anyone know of any products that would soften her still beautiful coat?
