The Return of Puppy Rash

ORIGINAL MESSAGE:
Well, Tucker's rash (puppy acne, I call it) has gotten worse and he's now biting and licking at it, so I finally took him to the vet. He says it's puppy pyoderma and quite common. He put him on once a day antibiotics. We'll see if it helps. Julie, how is little Samantha doing with her rash?By the way, the vet also said that at over 5 months, Tucker still hasn't lost one single tooth. I guess he's just dentally retarded.

Beth, sorry Tucker is so uncomfortable. Hopefully the Antibiotic will work and he's feeling better soon.

I never heard of puppy pyoderma but have heard of ' puppy mange' which some breeds are prone to - pugs and min pins. Never heard of a Maltese with either. Is Dr. Mark still out there? Comment please?
