Flowbee

ORIGINAL MESSAGE:
Flowbee I just read Teri's remark about using a flowbee on Dudley, and I'm wondering if I could see a photo before I try it on Popcorn? I thought Dudley was in the album, but I guess not. Daddy and I have been using the Flowbee to do our own hair for years, and Popcorn sits and watches. Sounds like a good idea to me. Teri, could you give us any hints? Popcorn had to go to a different groomer before our trip, and he got ringworm, too. His regular groomer is gone a lot (sick relative) but she does a beautiful job, when we can get him in. In the meantime, I'd sure like to give a Flowbee cut to him. Thanks for any info.

DISCUSSION:

Ditto! If Flowbee works, REALLY works, what a great thing!!! Please let us know.

What exactly is a Flowbee? Is it a clipper set? I use the Oster Golden A-5. I've never heard of or seen a Flowbee.

Angel. The Flowbee is an attachment you use on your vacuum cleaner. Like Teri said, it was on TV a lot some years ago. It vacuums the hair straight up and clips it off very evenly. There are plastic things that you attach, to get different lengths. I think the longest is 4", down to about a 1/4". There is no way you can cut too short, or even crooked. Popcorn has his summer cut now, but I think when it grows out I'll try it. I have seen one advertised, especially for pets, in one of those little sales magazines that everyone gets, like Miles Kimball, etc. See if you can find one. Teri said she had a phone #. Way back when we got ours it cost about 100 bucks, but they are a lot less now. Besides, groomers aren't cheap. Good luck finding one, and let us know if you see that ad for the pet one.

I just spotted the Flowbee in the latest Damark catalog that I got in the mail, under the Health & Beauty section, for $49.99. This issue also has Shelley's trailer/stroller that she uses to give her girls a ride in one of the pics in the photo album!
