Peeing on Daddy?
by Linda and NiNi

DISCUSSION:
Linda--I hate to admit it, but your story made me giggle a little. It sounds like NiNi is trying to "mark" his territory on your boyfriend which is part of the "dominance" thing. Your poor boyfriend. I can't remember if you said this in your post, but has NiNi been neutered? I have heard that this helps calms down the boys....good luck!
Opal, Sophie, too, gets jealous when my husband and I show affection toward one another. If we are on the couch she comes running to get in on the "action" and put in some of her own kisses. If we are standing up hugging, she's on her hind legs barking at us! Such a domineering woman, she is!
Sorry Linda, I had to giggle to when I heard what NiNi did. I agree with the first post I think it's a dominant thing. You know Lalita took 'matters in her own hands' last week. The guy I'm seeing came over last week, and we were sitting on the couch watching a movie and he started kissing me. Well... 'Little Miss' didn't like that one bit so she ran over to the couch stood on her hind legs and swatted him with her front paw (and she likes him!) I guess she was letting him know that mommies lips belong to HER and NOBODY else .

Had to laugh at your post. It reminded me of a neighbor's dog several years ago. Her boyfriend was over for a barbecue, and her (male) dog didn't like him much. He was playing with some of the kids and put his beer down on the ground. Well, the dog walked calmly over to the beer and lifted his leg and let a stream flow right in the can. Before anyone could say anything, her boyfriend lifted the beer and took a big swig out of it! So tell your boyfriend he should consider himself lucky!
