My registration papers mention "black points". What does that mean?
The black pigmentation such as eyerims, lips and nose. Just because your registration papers say black points, doesn't necessarily mean your Maltese has them. Quite the contrary. Many breeders will check the "black points" box on the application regardless as they feel that it's inferior not to have this quality on their Maltese puppies.
