Maltese or Yorkie? Can't decide.

I breed both Maltese & Yorkies. I don't feel they have the same temperment at all. The Yorkies have a Terrier temperment. While very sweet to their owners can be nippy with strangers, also, don't get along well with other animals as well as a Maltese does. They are much harder to train, even though I feel they are smarter

I had the same problem deciding between a yorkie and a maltese. My maltese is the most lovable dog in the world. She is just like a little person. I am going to get another one because I feel that the maltese is the best little dog that money can buy. Everyone in my family loves her and they look forward to coming over to see her. I was never all that crazy about dogs until I bought my maltese. The breed has the best personality and I cannot imagine ever living without a maltese. They are that wonderful.
My maltese is the best little friend I could ask for. They are smart, and very companionable, but have to have alot of attention. They are very easy to spoil. My Maltese follows me everywhere, sleeps with me, and rides in the car with me. We can't go anywhere without her meeting a friend. I have been around Maltese and Yorkies both, and I would definitely choose a Maltese!!!
