Phoebe is 14 weeks old, she has these pink inflamed areas on the bridge of her noes near both eyes. I have been keeping her face very clean and dry, could this irritation be from tearing. Has anyone had a similar experiance. I am going to call the vet tomorrow anyway just to be on the safe side. Please give me you input.

DISCUSSION:

My dogs did not tear stain until they were about 5 to 6 months old and it stopped at around age 1. I would definately take her to the vet to see what this is.

We got our puppy at 11 weeks and tear staining had already started. There's no inflamation though. He's been to the vet and is just fine.I would take him to the vet though if there's inflamation.
