Tear Staining ! I have tried everything and..
I have one female that has the worst tearstaining problem. I have tried
tear staining products, not using Fresh Fur Gel, I even tried MOM, and
nothing is working. My vet put her on Sumycin, checked her ears, we've done
it all. Anybody know anything else.

- I am having the same problem with a 15 month female. Started about
3 months ago very bad, turns out she has clogged tear ducts. I
took her to vet last week to have them opened and she was unable
to do so. Is sending her to a opthomologist, but in the meantime
I read a question on this site about Colloidal Silver, and the
brand called Life Plus. Where do you get it, and how much do you
use to keep bacteria from forming in tears? I have some that is
1 part per million, instead of 5 ppm. Will this work. Do I dilute
it with water??? Also what is CS-300? If this stops stains from
occuring, does it get rid of the stain already there, if not what
would be the most effective in bleaching the stains. I read the
idea about the Tums changing the PH, and that seems the least
risky, but does it work? She doesnt have an eye infection by the
way, just tears overflowing her eyes, poor baby.

- I'm sure this has been discussed many times before, but here it goes again!
My 11 month old Maltese came back from the groomer with a mild eye infection
which the vet treated with antibiotic ointment. The infection seems to have
cleared up, but my little one was left with dark red stains under both eyes,
which so far I have been unable to get rid of. I have tried three different
store bought products to no avail. Any alternative suggestion out there?

- My 11 mo. old had terribly stained eyes until he had 9 teeth pulled.
He wasn't losing his baby teeth. His eyes are clear as can be now. Just a thought.
